My uncle Pete Fairbanks gave me this instrument years ago and I've never done anything with it other than hang it on the wall. Seems it's difficult finding a set of strings or a tailpiece for this. It appears to be homemade. As I was dusting, I thought it appropriate to post what pictures I have in the hope that internet visitors could help fill in some of the blanks about this vintage piece.
